Hello friends. It’s been almost four years since the last time I led a Bike Touring Workshop! How time flies. What can I say, pandemic definitely put a crimp in things. So it’s time for another one. Please join me at Lords Luggage, 3616 SE Knapp St (Portland OR 97202) on Saturday May 6 from 2 to 4 PM for an informative session. Deets below:
Are you itching to hit the open road and explore nature in a way you haven’t yet? Are you a regular bicycle rider but have never taken a bicycle tour? Then join us to learn more about Self-Supported Bicycle Touring and Camping. We’ll be discussing equipment, planning, and cost as well as day-to-day life on the road.
This event is limited to 6 participants.
No camping/touring experience required, but this workshop is designed for folks who regularly ride a bike. We will not be extensively discussing bicycle maintenance or mechanics, but may mention a few useful tips for touring.
Each participant will get a Bike Touring Primer booklet.
Registration is required for this workshop. The fee of $20 will cover workshop materials. Register via Eventbrite here.
