Hey folks! We still have spots available for my Midweek Gorge Ride this Wednesday, June 15th! This is a no-drop ride to explore the beauty of the nearby Columbia River Gorge. There are a few different options for length of ride, anywhere from 25 to 40 miles round-trip. Please note that I only lead the outbound ride on Wednesday, getting back is your responsibility.
And while the six camping spots are filled up, there is still an option if you want to overnight with us at Ainsworth State Park: You can camp in the hiker/biker site. Spots in hiker/biker are $8 per person, first come, first served, reservations not allowed. Usually the ranger/host will put cyclists in the overflow field if the hiker/biker is full, but I cannot guarantee they will, so you ride out at your own risk.
After a pretty dismal weekend, Wednesday is shaping up to be a good weather day: Partly sunny, high 72F/22C. There is a slight chance of showers Wednesday night and a chance of showers on Thursday (high 70F/21C) so those of you who are doing the overnight option should plan accordingly.
You’ll need to register via Eventbrite to get the full ride info. Do that here.
