You have probably noticed that I've gotten way into film over the past few months. My flickr account is getting jammed with pictures from one of my three film cameras. I haven't started developing my own rolls yet, but I have moved on to just having my developed rolls scanned at the shop, since it's... Continue Reading →
Original Bicycle Art now available in my Shop
Hello friends! I'm continuing to expand my offerings of original art that I offer. I want to offer a small, quick, and easy option, so I figured I should draw one of my favorite things (besides potato-shaped people): Bicycles! You can get a 3" x 5" piece of original art with your bike in it... Continue Reading →
A Saturday Social Distance Ramble: 28 March 2020
I haven't been riding my bike as much as I should, even before global pandemic and "stay at home". So getting out on a bike for a few hours right now is a big deal. Gone are my regular errands by bike (though I still get down to my P.O. Box once a week), so... Continue Reading →

Three Speed Adventure April Challenge is BACK for 2020–but with a big twist

Hello friends. I didn’t want to do the traditional Three Speed Adventure April Challenge like I’ve been doing for the last few years–all the registrations, info collecting, Google spreadsheets, and nagging people had got me down. But now we are in this brave new world of global pandemic, which has led to the cancellation of my April ride in Portland. I want to do something.
I thought about bringing back some form of the original Adventure April challenges, since they can be done alone and with appropriate social distancing. But I also don’t want to encourage any risky and irresponsible behavior. So, I am going to do another three speed typed challenge project, one that you can even do when you are self-quarantined!
Over the next five weeks, from Sunday March 29 through Saturday May 2, I’m going to have a weekly Self-Challenge. The weekly prompts will be posted by…

A March art update
I’ve been keeping up with a regular “journal comic” clip since Inktober 2019 (October). It’s been fun! Turns out I like drawing regularly, I just need a little fire under the ass to keep it going. No, I haven’t done it every day like I did in Inktober, but I’d say I’m doing 4-5 days... Continue Reading →

But how about some old fashioned communication, one that uses a pen and travels via post? Well, how about a postcard to write to someone? I have many different types available in my shop. They are...
