Summer Three Speed Ride: Sunday August 12

I promised that I would do another Three Speed Ride before the summer is over. And since the Raving Bike Fiend is in town, it would be heresy to not schedule it during his residency!

So here ye, here ye! The next Three Speed Ride will happen Sunday August 12th. Details below.

4:00pm – 8:00pm (we’ll roll at 4:30pm)
HI-Portland, Hawthorne Hostel, 3031 SE Hawthorne Blvd (meet in the front)

What better way to celebrate a nice summer afternoon than ramble around the eastside on your humble internally geared three speed bicycle? Bring your trusty three speed bicycle of British, American, Japanese, Dutch, etc vintage. (Three speeds preferred but come along if you don’t have one.) Casual paced ramble of approx. 8-10 miles, fairly flat with a hill or two. Picnic and tea brew up along the way, bring all the necessities like food, a teakettle and a camping stove. Beer stop afterwards. Bring lights.
