Hello all you happy people!
Currently April and myself are working on getting our lazy butts in gear and hitting the road. We’ve been in Calgary for three days. Now we’ll head west (I know, counter-intuitive) to get to Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. We’ll be cruising the scenic Icefields Parkway between Banff and Jasper National Park this week. Then early next week, we’ll head eastward to Edmonton, our next city on the route. We estimate arrival into Edmonton on Thursday July 28, which if you are following at home on the “Home Game Version”, you’ll realize that’s a few days behind the ambitious schedule I outlined recently. Oh well.
We’ve had a decent time in Calgary, more on what we did later. We’ll say right now that we had good hosts, Dan and Saryn. And we visited the coolest bike shop we have seen in many a moon, Bike Bike Calgary.
